Product variants
Copymaster3D Resin UV Water Washable is a 3D printing resin for LCD/DLP printers that you rinse off after printing with ordinary tap water - forget about expensive IPA and its fumes. It offers sharp detail, low shrinkage, reduced odour and broad compatibility with home MSLA printers. An ideal choice for modellers, tabletop players and prototypers who want a cleaner workflow without flammable chemicals.
Key features
The main advantage of this resin is its water-washable formulation. Uncured resin rinses off the model and FEP film with lukewarm water, eliminating the need for isopropyl alcohol (IPA) or more expensive cleaners. This saves you money on consumable chemicals as well as your own health - the room does not smell as much and you do not breathe in alcohol fumes.
Copymaster3D has tuned the chemistry so that the resin exhibits minimal linear shrinkage during curing. In practice this means a lower risk of warping, more accurate dimensions and better fitting of assembly parts. Compared to common standard resins, this line has a noticeably weaker, sweetish smell - you will notice it immediately in your workshop or apartment.
The resin is optimised for the standard UV wavelength of 405 nm, so it works with virtually all home MSLA/LCD printers - Anycubic Photon Mono/M3/M5, Elegoo Mars/Saturn, Phrozen Sonic Mini/Mighty and others. The recommended default exposure times typically range between 1.8-3 s depending on the LED matrix power of the printer.

Who is Copymaster3D Resin UV Water Washable suitable for
The resin targets resin printer users who want a cleaner and safer workflow without storing flammable IPA. It works great for printing miniatures, tabletop figures, jewellery masters, dental models or functional prototypes where sharp edges and micro-details matter.
Resin printing also nicely complements a regular FDM workflow - where PLA or PETG cannot handle sharp edges and micro-details, resin steps in. For functional parts stressed by heat, reach for ASA or nylon.
Tips for use
- Before pouring into the vat, shake the bottle thoroughly to homogenise the pigment.
- When pouring leftovers back into the bottle, filter through a fine sieve - this extends the life of the FEP film and printer optics.
- After printing, rinse the model in a container of clean water or in an ultrasonic cleaner; for more complex geometries use a soft brush.
- Perform final curing with a UV lamp or curing station, typically 2-6 minutes depending on model size.
- Expose used water containing dissolved resin to sunlight or a UV lamp - the resin will precipitate and cure, then pour off the water and dispose of the solid residue in mixed waste.
- Store in the dark at 5-30 °C, away from direct sunlight, to prevent premature polymerisation.
