The C-tech UCR-02-AL card reader is a compact aluminium SD and microSD card reader with dual USB-A and USB-C connectors. The SuperSpeed USB 3.0 interface offers transfer speeds of up to 5 Gbps, supports SDXC/microSDXC cards up to 512 GB, and thanks to the OTG function, you can connect it to both a computer and a mobile phone. Dual USB-A and USB-C Connector

The reader is equipped with two connectors - a classic USB-A for connecting to a computer or laptop and a modern USB-C for tablets, phones, and newer devices. This eliminates the need for reductions or adapters. Both connectors are protected during transport by removable caps that prevent mechanical damage to the pins.

SuperSpeed USB 3.0 up to 5 Gbps

The USB 3.0 interface pushes transfer speeds far beyond the limits of USB 2.0 readers. Copying gigabytes of photos, videos, or backups from a card to a computer takes seconds instead of minutes. The actual speed is always limited by the class of the specific memory card.

You can insert an SD and a microSD card into the reader at the same time and the system sees both drives independently. The aluminium alloy housing not only looks elegant but, more importantly, increases mechanical resistance to drops and abrasion. Metal also dissipates heat better during long transfers of large files compared to plastic readers.

OTG Support for Mobile Phones

Thanks to the USB-C connector and OTG support, you can connect the reader directly to a mobile phone or tablet with Android. Uploading photos from a camera to your phone, playing videos, or transferring documents can be done without a computer anywhere in the field.

Plug and Play Without Drivers

The reader is fully compatible with the Plug and Play standard - just plug it in and the operating system will install the necessary drivers itself. It works with Windows, macOS, Linux, Chrome OS, and Android. Power is supplied via the USB port, no external power source is required.
