C-Tech Filament Essential PETG 1 kg is a versatile 1.75 mm printing filament that combines mechanical strength, toughness and resistance to moisture and higher temperatures. It ranks among the reliable solutions for functional parts as well as aesthetic models.
Key features
PETG from the Essential Line is produced in a modern European factory under strict quality control, ensuring a consistent filament diameter and stable printing results. The material offers high toughness, excellent layer adhesion and a surface with a subtle gloss. Compared to PLA it is more resistant to temperature and moisture, while still being easier to print than ABS. The resulting prints are strong, durable and suitable even for mechanically stressed components.

Who is C-Tech Filament Essential PETG 1 kg suitable for
The filament is designed for users looking for a reliable material for durable and functional parts. It is well suited for producing prototypes, holders, electronics enclosures, mechanical components and parts exposed to increased load or moisture. It is suitable for hobby printers as well as professionals who need a versatile material at a fair price. Thanks to the compromise between easy printing and functional properties, it is also a good choice for design projects and aesthetically oriented models.
Tips for use
- We recommend drying the filament before printing - PETG is mildly hygroscopic and moisture causes filament cracking and poorer surface quality.
- For easier removal of the print, use a thin layer of glue or a separator, as PETG tends to stick strongly to both glass and PEI.
- Reduce cooling to lower values for better layer adhesion and higher part strength.
- Optimize retraction (3-5 mm for Bowden, 0.8-2 mm for Direct Drive) to eliminate stringing.
- For long-term storage, keep the spool in a sealed package with silica gel.
- For the first layer, choose a slightly higher nozzle temperature and slower speed for perfect adhesion.
