The DM 2505 resin is optimized for DLP and LCD printers and delivers sharp edges, legible occlusal surfaces and accurate margins. Models printed from DM 2505 are suitable for the production of crowns, bridges, aligners as well as for diagnostic and planning purposes in the CAD/CAM workflow.

Beige shade for faithful plaster representation

The color has been tuned so that the resulting models visually resemble classic plaster dental models. This facilitates communication between the laboratory and the physician and ensures a professional appearance of the output for archiving as well as patient presentation.

Low shrinkage and high dimensional stability

The material features minimal shrinkage during curing, which is essential for dental applications. Even after a full UV post-cure process, the model retains its geometric accuracy, which is crucial for subsequent thermoforming of thermoplastics or the production of custom appliances.

Optimized for fast printing

DM 2505 offers good reactivity to both 385 nm and 405 nm LED sources. It allows short per-layer exposure times, enabling the laboratory to process larger volumes of orders without compromising on detail quality.

Compatibility with open DLP/LCD printers

The resin works with all common open-source DLP and MSLA printers with a wavelength of 385 nm or 405 nm. Simply import a suitable print profile and the material is ready for operation. For dental workflows it can be combined with flexible or castable resins.

Easy post-processing

Recommended washing takes place in isopropyl alcohol (IPA) for approximately 3 minutes, followed by UV post-cure in a chamber with a wavelength of 385/405 nm. After curing, the models are hard, mechanically resistant and ready for further use.

Suitable for CAD/CAM dental workflow

The material fits seamlessly into the digital dental process - from intraoral scanning, through CAD design in exocad or 3Shape, all the way to the 3D print itself. Good thermal stability also allows for vacuum forming of thermoplastic foils directly on the model.
