The Bambu Lab Tungsten Carbide Nozzle is an extremely durable tungsten carbide nozzle with HRA 90 hardness, designed for Bambu Lab H2, P2S, and X2D series printers. With up to 50% longer service life when printing abrasive materials and stable flow, it is an excellent choice for functional parts, fiber-filled technical filaments, and large structural components.

Tungsten carbide with HRA 90 hardness significantly outperforms hardened steel (HRA 74) and offers exceptional wear resistance. In practice, this means fewer replacements, a stable bore diameter, and consistent print quality even with the most demanding composites. The nozzle easily handles carbon fiber-filled filaments such as PLA-CF, PETG-CF, PA6-CF, PAHT-CF, PPA-CF, PPS-CF, and PET-CF, as well as glass fiber composites.

The special heater block design separates the thermal and electronic parts of the hotend - the Quick Swap design allows fast replacement with a single latch release. The hotend operates up to 350 °C, covering even the most demanding technical materials including PPA-CF and PPS-CF. Stable temperature control and long service life make this nozzle a reliable partner for engineering applications.

Broad compatibility includes both basic and advanced materials - PLA, PETG, ABS, ABS-GF, ASA, ASA-CF, PC and PC FR, as well as TPU 95A HF and TPU for AMS. For silicone TPU 85A and 90A, we recommend choosing a different hotend variant.

The hotend is intended for users of Bambu Lab H2 series printers (both sides on the H2D, only the left liftable hotend on the H2C), P2S, and X2D, who need to reliably print abrasive and technical filaments. It will be appreciated by makers who print functional components, industrial and engineering parts, or models that emphasize strength. For the H2D, dual printing requires both nozzles to be the same size.

Tips for use

• Always let the entire assembly cool down before replacing the nozzle - this prevents burns.
• For abrasive carbon-filled filaments, tungsten carbide is significantly more advantageous than hardened steel.
• When printing nylon and PC composites, you will make use of the full temperature range up to 350 °C.
• For silicone flexible filaments such as TPU 85A and 90A, choose a different hotend variant.
• Regularly check the nozzle condition - despite the high durability of tungsten carbide, it is a wear part.
