Bambu Lab Support Filament for PLA/PETG is a specialized support material designed for printing support interfaces under models made of PLA and PETG. Due to its different polarity, it does not fuse with the main material, which allows easy, tool-free removal of supports without damaging the surface of the printed model.

Key features

This support filament is developed to minimize fusion with PLA and PETG filaments. It ensures a smooth surface at the point of contact with the model and enables printing of even very fine and complex details. The material is supplied on a reusable high-temperature Bambu Reusable Spool with a filament diameter of 1.75 mm (± 0.05 mm). Thanks to the RFID chip, print parameters are automatically recognized by the AMS system.

The material is intended exclusively for printing support interfaces - it is not suitable for printing the models themselves. To achieve a precise result, it is recommended to set zero top interface spacing and zero Z distance.

Usage tips

• Use exclusively as Support/Raft Interface - not for printing the models themselves.
• In the slicer software, select "Support for PLA/PETG" as the material in the Support/Raft Interface settings.
• When using tree supports, do not use this material for Support/Raft base.
• Store the filament in a dry environment, ideally in a sealed package with desiccant.
• If the material becomes brittle or exposed to moisture, dry it at 75 °C for 8 hours.
• For optimal interface, set zero top interface spacing and zero Z distance.
• Compatible with all nozzles and the AMS system - parameters are loaded via RFID.
