The filament is suitable for beginners as well as advanced users. It is great for printing decorative items, prototypes, models, figurines, design accessories, gift items, and functional parts that are not exposed to higher temperatures or mechanical stress. If you need greater thermal or mechanical resistance, take a look at PETG, ABS or ASA filaments.
Usage tips
- Dry the filament before printing at 50 °C for 8 hours for optimal print quality.
- Recommended build plate: Cool Plate SuperTack, Smooth PEI, or Textured PEI Plate.
- For good results, use 100% active print cooling.
- For maximum print speed, we recommend a 0.4 mm nozzle size.
- After use, store in a dry environment, ideally in a sealed box with silica gel.
- The Refill version must be used with a reusable Bambu Lab spool.
- Not suitable for long-term outdoor use - PLA has lower UV and temperature resistance.
