Live View Camera for Bambu Lab X2D is an internal camera for real-time print monitoring directly from the Bambu Studio and Bambu Handy apps. Live view into your printer from anywhere

The camera installs directly into the internal frame of the Bambu Lab X2D printer and provides a smooth live video stream to both Bambu Studio (desktop) and Bambu Handy (mobile). You can check on your print anytime from the office, sofa or on the go - without needing to be physically near the machine.

Smart spaghetti detection

Integrated AI continuously analyzes the camera feed and automatically pauses the print when typical "spaghetti" chaos occurs (detached print, loose object). This saves you filament, time and potential nozzle damage when something goes wrong in the middle of a long job with PLA or PETG.

Foreign object recognition

Foreign object detection monitors the work area and alerts you if something appears in the print zone that shouldn't be there - a fallen piece of print, a loose fragment, or a forgotten tool. The print won't start until the plate is clean.

Build plate inspection

Build plate detection verifies the presence and correct orientation of the steel plate before the print starts. This eliminates the risk of the printer extruding material onto the bare magnetic base or onto the wrong type of plate.

Designed exclusively for Bambu Lab X2D

The camera is designed both mechanically and in software for the dual-nozzle Bambu Lab X2D printer. It fits into a pre-prepared mounting point inside the enclosure, the connector is plug-and-play and the firmware recognizes the camera automatically after pairing.

You can complete the installation in just a few minutes - simply loosen the service panel, click the camera into its designated spot and connect the data cable. Step-by-step instructions can be found in the official Bambu Lab Wiki. No printer modifications or soldering required.

Metal construction for long service life

The camera body combines metal and plastic, so it withstands the temperatures inside the enclosed chamber when printing technical materials such as ABS, ASA, Nylon or Polycarbonate. Its compact dimensions of 60x60x30 mm don't intrude into the print space.

Complete Bambu Lab ecosystem

The camera works natively with Bambu Lab cloud services - live stream, time-lapse snapshots and print completion notifications are available directly in the app. Setup is completed during the first initialization without the need for any third-party software.
