Product variants
The Bambu Lab High Flow Tungsten Carbide Nozzle is a high-flow tungsten carbide hotend designed for the H2, P2S and X2D series printers. With HRA 90 hardness, it offers up to 50% longer service life when printing abrasive filaments compared to hardened steel, and its high-flow geometry enables faster extrusion for functional and large parts.
Key features
The nozzle material reaches HRA 90 hardness, while standard hardened steel sits around HRA 74. This means significantly higher wear resistance with abrasive materials such as filaments with carbon fibers, glass fibers or metal composites. Nozzle service life increases by up to 50%, which you will appreciate especially in long-term production.
The High Flow version features modified internal geometry that increases the maximum melt flow rate. Combined with a suitable diameter, you can extrude significantly more material per second and shorten print times for large models and functional parts.
The hotend is rated for continuous operation up to 350 °C, so it easily handles technical materials such as PC, PA, PAHT-CF, PET-CF, PPA-CF and PPS-CF. Of course, it also handles standard PLA, PETG, ABS and ASA.
The heating assembly is designed so it can be separated from the electronic components in a single motion. Just release the latch and you can swap the hotend within seconds without disconnecting any cabling. The Quick Swap design dramatically speeds up servicing and material changeovers.

Who is the Bambu Lab High Flow Tungsten Carbide Nozzle, H2, P2, X2 suitable for
If you regularly print carbon or glass fiber filled materials, produce functional prototypes or run small-batch production, tungsten carbide is a clear choice. A classic brass nozzle will wear out within tens of hours of printing with these materials, while here you get many times longer service life and stable bore dimensions. The hotend is intended for the H2 series, the P2S model and the dual-nozzle X2D. On the H2D it is compatible with both the left and right hotend, on the H2C it is supported only in the left lifting hotend.
Usage tips
- Always perform replacement on a cooled hotend to avoid burns from the heat block.
- For dual-nozzle printing on the X2D, both nozzles must have the same diameter.
- For silk and aero variants of PLA and ASA, the manufacturer recommends a smaller nozzle diameter.
- When printing PC and PA composites, take advantage of the full temperature range up to 350 °C.
- Before the first print, calibrate the flow rate - the high-flow geometry allows higher extrusion than a standard hotend.
