Bambu Lab PLA Pure is a premium PLA filament with an exceptionally clean composition - only five ingredients, each certified by the EU for food contact. It is designed for safe indoor printing, low emissions and stable mechanical properties.

Key features

PLA Pure stands out thanks to a minimal amount of additives, which ensures cleaner extrusion, less residue in the nozzle and higher print consistency across spools. The material is certified under UL GREENGUARD 2904 for low particle and VOC emissions, EN 71-3 for toy safety and EU No. 10/2011 for food contact.

Mechanically it matches the standard Bambu PLA Basic - flexural strength approx. 75 MPa (XY), modulus of elasticity 2880 MPa and toughness 20.6 kJ/m². The filament has a diameter of 1.75 mm with a tolerance of +/- 0.03 mm and a weight of 1 kg. Thanks to the integrated RFID chip, all print parameters are automatically loaded by the AMS system - without manual setup.

PLA Pure is intended for users looking for a safe material for common household items - children's toys, kitchen utensils, models often held in the hand, decorations and everyday functional parts. Thanks to its low emissions, it is suitable for printing in living spaces, offices and schools. We also recommend it for beginners thanks to easy printing and stable behavior.

The material is not intended for parts exposed to temperatures above 60 °C or for direct contact with liquid foods. For more demanding mechanical or thermal applications, consider PETG, ABS or ASA.

Usage tips

• Before printing, we recommend drying the filament at 55 °C for 8 hours for maximum surface quality.
• The refill must be used with the reusable Bambu Reusable Spool.
• For bed adhesion, increase the bed temperature instead of using glue - applying glues is not recommended for parts intended for food contact.
• The material is compatible with all Bambu Lab printers, AMS systems, print beds and nozzles.
• After printing, store in a dry environment (ideally in a sealed box with silica gel) to preserve its properties.
• For regular prints you can use the automatic profile from RFID - no manual setup required.
• For smooth surfaces and minimal stringing, print with retraction according to the manufacturer's default profile.
