Bambu Lab PETG Translucent Refill is a translucent PETG filament developed for creating eye-catching prints with light transmission, high mechanical strength and easy printability. The material is optimized for PETG printing with minimal stringing, oozing and nozzle clogging.

The filament offers a balanced combination of mechanical strength, weather resistance and aesthetic appearance thanks to light transmission. It is resistant to UV radiation, water and temperature fluctuations, which predestines it for outdoor use. The optimized formula minimizes common PETG issues - stringing, nozzle clogging and melt accumulation. The material shows excellent dimensional stability, minimal warping and is suitable for both enclosed and open 3D printers. The filament diameter of 1.75 mm ±0.03 mm ensures consistent extrusion. The Refill version is designed for reuse of the original Bambu Lab spool - saving plastic and costs.

The filament is intended for users of Bambu Lab printers and other FDM/FFF machines who want to combine a translucent appearance with mechanical durability. It is ideal for light diffusers, lamp shades, decorative objects with light and shadow play effects, exhibition models, transparent covers, vases, technical parts exposed to outdoor conditions and functional prototypes. The material is fully compatible with AMS and AMS lite thanks to the built-in RFID chip, which automatically loads the print parameters. The Refill version without spool saves plastic and costs when reusing the original Bambu Lab spool.
Tips for use
- Always dry the material before printing at 65 °C for at least 8 hours - moisture causes bubbles and reduces surface quality.
- To achieve maximum transparency, print more slowly (60-80 mm/s) and with a higher nozzle temperature in the upper part of the recommended range.
- The transparency of the final print depends on the size, wall thickness, model structure and infill density - for a clear appearance, use 100% infill with a line pattern or thicker walls instead of infill.
- Recommended print bed: Cool Plate SuperTack, Smooth PEI Plate or Textured PEI Plate.
- Use Bambu Liquid Glue for better adhesion - classic glue stick is not recommended.
- A 0.2 mm stainless steel nozzle is not recommended - for fine details, choose 0.4 mm hardened steel.
- Store in a sealed package with desiccant, ideally at humidity below 20 % RH.
- An enclosed chamber is not required - the filament shows minimal warping even on open printers.
- In case the Refill version is unavailable, we reserve the right to replace it with the spooled version, the price remains unchanged.
