Overview

The AMS Feeding Funnel is an internal component of the AMS First Stage Feeder, consisting of structural parts and the filament detection sensor board.
When the sensor board detects filament insertion, the AMS first stage feeder automatically pulls the filament forward. If filament insertion is abnormal, the sensor board also identifies it and sends this information back to the 3D printer.
To optimize product performance, we upgraded the AMS first stage feeder circuit board. This update affects AMS units that used the earliest mainboard. Before purchasing a first stage feeder or feeding funnel, confirm your AMS mainboard version on the Bambu Lab Wiki
