Bambu Lab AMS is a system for the Bambu Lab P1 and X1 3D printers that ensures filament feeding and automatic filament switching during printing. It can detect filament tension and adjust the feeding speed. Using RFID technology, the Bambu Lab AMS identifies the filament inserted inside and automatically configures the most suitable printing settings.

The Bambu Lab AMS is equipped with humidity sensors and an airtight enclosure that keeps the filament dry. This is especially useful for technical materials such as nylon or polycarbonate. It consists of 4 filament slots, and up to 4 AMS units can be installed in parallel.
