Product variants
Anycubic UV Water Washable Resin Plus is an improved water-washable photopolymer resin for LCD, MSLA and DLP printers operating with 405 nm UV light. The Plus formulation delivers higher strength, better detail and more stable printing even with larger models, while uncured resin can be rinsed off prints with plain water - no isopropyl alcohol required.
Key features
The main advantage is the solubility of uncured resin in water. After printing, simply rinse the model in regular water or a wash station, eliminating the cost of IPA and the need to store it in a flammable cabinet. The water used for washing can be cured under UV light and the solid waste simply disposed of - making the workflow faster and friendlier to your workshop.
Compared to the original generation, the Plus version offers higher toughness and reduced brittleness after curing. Models better withstand handling, support removal and everyday mechanical stress, so they are suitable not only for figurines and miniatures, but also for functional prototypes and parts with thin walls.
Low viscosity ensures rapid resin replenishment between layers and precise reproduction of geometry. The resin is tuned for the standard 405 nm wavelength and works on common MSLA/LCD printers - Anycubic Photon Mono/M3/M5s, Elegoo Mars/Saturn, Phrozen Sonic and others. Recommended exposure ranges around 1.8-2.5 s per layer (50 µm) depending on the specific machine.
The formulation targets lower odour emissions compared to common standard resins, which you will appreciate in a smaller workshop or at home. Even so, we recommend working with resin in a well-ventilated area, wearing nitrile gloves and safety glasses.

Who is Anycubic UV Water Washable Resin Plus suitable for
This resin is intended for modellers, tabletop gamers and DIY enthusiasts who want quality detail without complicated post-processing with isopropyl alcohol. The higher toughness of the Plus formulation extends its use to functional prototypes, mechanical parts with thin walls and workshop aids, where ordinary brittle resin would not suffice. It serves beginners looking for a safer and cleaner workflow just as well as professionals with regular production.
Usage tips
- Shake the bottle thoroughly before printing to mix pigments and additives.
- Set the starting exposure around 1.8-2.5 s per 50 µm layer and fine-tune for sharp detail.
- Rinse prints in clean water or a wash station, optionally in two baths (pre-wash + final cleaning).
- Cure the used water under UV light or sunlight and dispose of the solid waste as sorted plastic.
- When pouring resin back into the bottle, filter it through a paper strainer - this extends the life of the FEP film.
- Work in a well-ventilated area, use nitrile gloves and safety glasses.
- Post-cure finished prints in a UV chamber or in sunlight for maximum strength and dimensional stability.
