The Anycubic Photon Mono 4 is a compact LCD resin printer with a 7" monochrome display at 9024 × 5120 px (10K) resolution, delivering fine detail at a price point you wouldn't expect at this resolution. The 153.4 × 87 × 165 mm build volume is ideal for figurines, miniatures, dental models and functional prototypes where every pixel matters.

10K monochrome LCD display

At the heart of the printer is a 7-inch monochrome LCD panel with 9024 × 5120 pixel resolution. That means a pixel size of around 17 µm and genuinely sharp edges on even the smallest details. The monochrome matrix also transmits significantly more UV light than older RGB panels, resulting in a longer service life and shorter exposure times per layer.

Build volume 153.4 × 87 × 165 mm

The build volume is tuned for typical resin use - tabletop miniatures, busts, jewelry, dental models. The 165 mm height lets you print larger figures in one piece without having to split the model into parts. The 153.4 × 87 mm footprint matches the aspect ratio of the 10K LCD panel, so you don't lose a single pixel.

Layer height 0.03 - 0.15 mm

The 0.03 - 0.15 mm layer height range covers everything from ultra-fine details (modelers and jewelry makers typically run 0.03-0.05 mm) to fast functional prototypes at 0.1 mm layers. The combination of thin layers and a 17 µm pixel produces a surface that barely needs sanding.

Manual 4-point leveling

The printer uses proven 4-point manual build plate leveling. The procedure is fast, repeatable and after the initial setup you usually don't have to revisit it. A firmly tightened plate also means fewer issues with a failed first layer.

Touch display and intuitive controls

All operation runs through the touch panel - file selection, exposure calibration, preheating, manual Z-axis movement. The UI is refined from previous Photon Mono generations, so you don't need any manual to get your first print running.

USB connectivity

Print files are transferred to the printer via USB flash drive. The workflow is clean - you slice in Anycubic Photon Workshop or Lychee Slicer, copy the .pwma file to USB and simply select and start it in the printer's UI.

Compact dimensions, 4 kg weight

External dimensions of 230 × 235 × 391 mm and a weight of 4 kg make the Photon Mono 4 a printer that fits even on a regular desk. It's suitable for a workshop or home office - just keep ventilation in mind, resin has its own aroma.

Compatible resins

The printer works with standard 405 nm UV resins - from common modeling types, through ABS-Like and Tough variants, to water-washable and castable resins for jewelry. For materials with properties closer to technical thermoplastics, check out our categories ABS, ASA or nylon if you need comparable strength in FDM printing.
