The Anycubic Kobra X is a fast FDM 3D printer with quiet operation, automatic bed calibration and a print area suited to everyday home and hobby projects. The Kobra X is ready to print within minutes of unboxing and supports a wide range of materials from PLA through PETG to flexible filaments.

High print speed without compromising quality

The Kobra X is optimised for printing at higher speeds while preserving detail. A rigid frame, quality linear guides and tuned kinematics minimise vibrations, so you get clean walls and sharp details even at greater accelerations. It is well suited for printing with PLA as well as more advanced materials such as PETG.

Automatic bed calibration

An integrated sensor automatically measures the print bed and creates a map of height deviations. The print head then compensates for unevenness in real time, so you don't have to worry about manually levelling screws. The result is a reliable first layer across the entire surface.

Direct drive extruder for flexible materials

The direct drive extruder feeds filament straight into the nozzle, improving retraction control and enabling printing with soft materials. In addition to standard filaments, it can also handle flexible filaments such as TPU, which a Bowden system would handle less reliably.

Heated bed with a removable plate

Rapid bed heating shortens print preparation time. The flexible magnetic plate can be removed easily after the print finishes, and a slight flex pops the part off on its own - no spatula or forceful prying needed. The textured surface provides excellent adhesion even for ABS and other technical materials.

High-flow hotend

The optimised hotend can handle higher molten filament flow, which is essential for printing at higher speeds. The standard 0.4 mm nozzle is quickly replaceable, so you can fit a different size depending on your needs - larger for mechanical parts, finer for detailed models.

Intuitive touch controls

A colour touchscreen guides you clearly through calibration, filament changes and printing itself. Firmware updates via USB or SD card take just a few clicks, and the menu is sensibly structured even for beginners.

Compatibility with common slicers

The printer works with popular slicers such as Anycubic Slicer Next, Cura, PrusaSlicer or OrcaSlicer. Profiles are publicly available, so you don't have to tune everything from scratch. G-code can be transferred via SD card or USB.

Quiet stepper motor operation

Silent stepper motor drivers reduce operating noise to a level that won't disturb you even during overnight printing. Combined with vibration dampers, it is a machine well suited even for the living room or a small home workshop.
