The Anycubic Kobra S1 ACE 2 Pro Combo is a CoreXY FDM printer with a 250 × 250 × 250 mm build volume, complemented by the ACE 2 Pro multi-color system expandable to up to 16 colors and active filament drying at up to 65 °C during printing. It combines high speed (up to 600 mm/s), a stable construction, smart features such as AI monitoring and foreign object detection, all in a fully assembled package ready for immediate use.

CoreXY construction for high speed and precision

The Kobra S1 is built on a rigid CoreXY kinematic system with two independent motors on the X/Y axis, which significantly reduces vibrations and improves extruder response even at high speeds. The recommended print speed is 300 mm/s, with a maximum of up to 600 mm/s at accelerations of up to 20,000 mm/s². Kobra OS also controls flow correction and limits excess material at model edges.

ACE 2 Pro multi-color system - up to 16 colors

The base ACE 2 Pro enables 4-color printing. By connecting four units, the palette can be expanded to up to 16 colors. Four independent brushless motors and an improved buffer system ensure smooth filament feeding and rewinding without jams. The motors are designed for a 25,000-hour lifespan and the unit operates at under 48 dB noise level. Combination with the older ACE Pro generation is not supported.

Active filament drying up to 65 °C during printing

Unlike the first generation ACE Pro, the ACE 2 Pro dries filament at up to 65 °C in parallel with ongoing printing. Integrated temperature and humidity sensors monitor conditions inside the chamber in real time, an electromagnetic valve actively removes moisture, and a silicone seal prevents ambient humidity from entering. Activated carbon is included in the package.

Wide material compatibility

The printer handles commonly used materials: PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA and TPU. The Direct Drive extruder with Dual Gear technology and a nozzle with a maximum temperature of 320 °C can handle everything from precise PLA parts through impact-resistant PETG to outdoor ABS/ASA applications. TPU must be fed directly into the printer and is not compatible with ACE 2 Pro multi-color operation.

LeviQ 3.0 and automatic calibration

LeviQ 3.0 provides fully automatic print bed leveling including Z-offset setting. An integrated accelerometer detects resonant frequencies and automatically compensates for them, resulting in cleaner surfaces even at high speeds. The print surface consists of PEI spring steel with a heated bed up to 120 °C.

AI monitoring and foreign object detection

The built-in camera with AI evaluation automatically recognizes issues such as "spaghetti" and notifies the operator. Foreign object detection identifies contaminants in the print area to prevent failed prints or machine damage. In the event of a power outage, the printer automatically resumes printing from the point of interruption once power is restored.

Smart filament change assistant

An integrated remaining filament indicator together with automatic changeover profiles enables smooth spool changes as soon as material runs out. For compatible Anycubic filaments, intelligent material recognition works - parameters are loaded automatically, eliminating manual configuration (requires internet connection).

Controls and quiet operation

The Kobra S1 is controlled via a 4.3" capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 800 × 480 pixels. In standard mode, noise levels are under 46 dB, and in Quiet mode even under 44 dB. A separate cleaning channel inside the device facilitates the removal of post-print residues, and the 1+1+1 cooling system ensures rapid model cooling.

Anycubic Slicer Next ecosystem and app

The Anycubic Slicer Next slicing software is based on the open-source OrcaSlicer platform and is customized for Anycubic printers, including LAN mode for local processing without the cloud. Prusa Slicer and Cura are also supported. Through the Anycubic app, you can remotely start print jobs, monitor progress and record time-lapse videos by layer. The Makeronline model library is free.
