For the X1/P1 series printer:

1. Drying function requirement:

• When the drying function is enabled, the power adapter must be used to ensure sufficient power.

2. Connecting multiple AMS 2 Pro units:

• If the drying function is enabled for multiple units, each AMS 2 Pro requires its own power adapter.

3. Using the system without drying:

• The power adapter can be omitted if the drying function is not used.

Notes:

1. For the H2D printer:

• Multiple AMS 2 Pro units can be connected directly using a 6-pin cable.

2. For the X1/P1 series printer:

• If you plan to connect multiple AMS 2 Pro units, you will need to purchase the AMS 2 Pro Upgrade Kit 2 (with an integrated AMS Hub).

• AMS 2 Pro is compatible with X1/P1 series printers for multi-material printing. The filament-drying function for these older generations will be available via an online update by the end of April.
