3D printing directly into the air

The 3D pen works on the same principle as a classic FDM printer - it melts a thermoplastic filament and extrudes it through a nozzle. Instead of a motorized feed, however, your hand controls the movement. You can draw directly into space, join prints together, or repair broken models in just a few seconds.

Clear LCD display

The integrated LCD shows the current nozzle temperature and the selected filament type. Switching between PLA and ABS modes is a matter of a single button, so you can easily move from softer PLA to stronger ABS depending on what you are currently creating.

Compatibility with 1.75 mm filament

The pen accepts standard 1.75 mm diameter filament. You are therefore not tied to expensive proprietary refills - you can use regular spools from our PLA filaments or ABS filaments category, or even test out any short, partially used spool left over from your printer.

Smooth speed control

The side buttons control both filament feeding and retraction. The extrusion speed can be smoothly adjusted, which you will appreciate when drawing thin lines as well as when filling larger areas. Retracting the filament also makes it easier to change color or material.

Lightweight and ergonomic design
