What is wipe in 3D printing?
Wipe is the wiping of the nozzle before or after printing a segment. The nozzle passes over the model surface and leaves excess filament there. Prevents stringing.

- Wipe before travel - wipe before movement
- Wipe while retracting - retract while wiping
- Coasting - stop extrusion before segment end
