What is stringing and how to remove it?
Stringing is the pulling of fine filament threads between model parts. Caused by insufficient retraction, high temperature, or wet filament.
How to prevent
- Increase retraction - by 0.5-1 mm
- Lower temperature - by 5-10 °C
- Dry filament (dryer)
- Speed up travel - 150-200 mm/s
- Coasting - stop extrusion before segment end
