What is a purge tower in multicolor printing?
A purge tower is an additional structure next to the model that the printer prints during multicolor printing. When switching filament, the nozzle flushes new color into the tower.
Why a purge tower
When switching color in AMS, old color remains in the nozzle. The tower absorbs the first few mm of new color.
