What is PLA+ filament?
PLA+ is an improved version of standard PLA. Manufacturers add modifiers for higher strength, toughness and heat resistance. Prints just as easily.
What PLA+ improves
PLA+ has 10-50 % higher tensile strength, more toughness (doesn't crack as easily) and slightly higher heat resistance (~65 °C vs 55 °C). Price slightly higher than PLA.
When to choose
Functional parts where regular PLA cracks - handles, holders, mechanical components. For even more durability choose PETG.
