What is layer exposure?

Layer exposure is the energy (light × time) incident on one layer in SLA printing. Calculated as UV intensity × exposure time.

Effect on quality

Correct exposure = sharp details. Too little = layers don't bond. Too much = over-cure.

Layer balancing

Exposure should be consistent for all normal layers. Bottom layers have significantly longer exposure.
