GF filaments contain short glass fiber (15-25 %). Higher stiffness and dimensional stability than pure plastic. Alternative to carbon composites.
GF vs. CF
- GF - whitish/grey surface, cheaper
- CF - black matte, more expensive
- GF has better toughness

Nozzle
GF is slightly abrasive - needs hardened steel nozzle.
