What is DLP 3D printing?

DLP (Digital Light Processing) is a resin technology using a DLP projector. It projects the whole layer at once, making it faster than laser SLA.

DLP vs. SLA

DLP projects the whole image at once - speed is constant regardless of model size. SLA laser draws line by line - bigger part = longer print.

Suitability

Ideal for series production - gears, dental models, jewelry frames. Worse on very fine details (projector pixelation).
