What is cold pull and how to clean a nozzle with it?
Cold pull (or atomic pull) is a method of cleaning the nozzle. You pull filament out at a lower temperature when it's solid - it pulls impurities out with it.
Procedure
- Heat nozzle to 200 °C (PLA)
- Push filament by hand
- Lower temp to 90-100 °C
- When solid, pull out sharply
When to use
Regularly after abrasive materials, when switching colors/materials.
