What is a Cartesian 3D printer?
Cartesian is the oldest and simplest FDM 3D printer construction. Each axis (X, Y, Z) has its own motor and moves independently. Typical for Creality Ender, Prusa MK.
How it works
Head moves in X and Z, bed in Y (Prusa-style), or head in X and Y, bed in Z (i3 style).
Cartesian vs. CoreXY
Cartesian: simple, cheap, slower. CoreXY: more complex, pricier, faster.
