What is acceleration in 3D printing?

Acceleration determines how quickly the printer reaches print speed. In mm/s². Typically 1000-5000 mm/s², modern printers up to 20000 mm/s².

Effect on quality

Higher acceleration = faster overall printing, but also more vibration - ghosting, layer shift.

Calibration

Start with default. Increase gradually by 500-1000 mm/s². Combine with Input Shaping.
